Training & Lessons

 

Kimberley Olson is the Owner and Trainer at Puddlefoot Stables.  She has had many successful years working with people and their horses.  She has successfully shown her own horses and clients horses in lower level dressage, but most importantly she has taken people that have lost their confidence with their horses and restored it.  She credits the success by bringing out the horses natural talent with quiet light riding.   

  

Philosophy:  
My philosophy in training and teaching is to ensure horse and rider discover an understanding of each other. Dressage is the basis for my teaching, however none of my students have been "dressage" students.  No matter what your riding discipline, the key to great success is to teach the rider to be firm but fair, and train the horse to understand what you are asking of  him.

  

 

Goal:
To improve your riding skills; to teach rider and horse to work together as dance partners; and to teach you to ask clearly and concisely so that your horse will understand what you are asking of him. (I will train your horse for you, but I have learned from experience that it is very important for you to take an active roll in the training process to prevent a learning gap between horse and rider.)

Lesson and Training payment breakdown

Private lessons

$35 per hour

Semi Private Lessons (2 people)

$30 per hour

Group Lessons/ Clinics(2+People)

$25 per hour
